- 2 sticks butter, at room temperature
- ½ cup oil
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp cracked black pepper
Preheat the oven to 375F. Mix the butter, oil, vinegar and eggs in the bowl of an electric mixer, add the flour, parmesan cheese, baking powder, salt and pepper and mix until combined.
Roll the dough to about ¼ of an inch thick and cut with the cookie cutter of your choice, bake until golden, about 25 minutes.

I am so glad you liked these, you could also make them ahead of time, freeze on wax or parchment paper and put in a plastic bag, you can bake them frozen. Baking time will be slightly longer but they are fresh and ready to go if you have last minute guests. Happy birthday to your husband.
